One is just suggesting "Don't answer this way" and this one is suggesting "then don't ask those questions in the first place." It is really hard to tell before asking this type of question whether there is a useful answer or not. (As you can see from the link now I stumbled upon a sort of interesting reference for that question at least.) But I'm not familiar enough with sci-fi to know how many of these types of questions get answered with unfounded conjecture/discussion. | |
